We have brought together a team of outstanding individuals who love the challenge of solving difficult problems. Because of this we attract people from around the world who all share the Pingar vision of making artificial intelligence and automation a reality. Together we’ve created an suite of tools for automating information management – we call this the PingarBot – our artificial intelligence bot that generates metadata for managing all aspects of the information lifecycle.
For too long our industry has been telling customers they can automate records management but it’s a myth as currently most customers say that only a small percentage of their content is finding its way into traditional EDRMS to be appraised and classified . It’s this myth that has driven us into developing a machine based solution that really works. We believe it is only possible with a deep understanding of the principles of text mining combined with human curated intelligence built in to our data models. So we developed data models for different industry content types and a methodology for rapidly creating models for new industries and customer sites.
Our Leadership Team
Neil Livingston
CEO
Neil Livingston has more than 30 years’ experience in the technology industry internationally. He is an experienced Executive and Independent Director who has held a number of roles at companies, including Ericsson, Vend, Foodcap, Endace, and Provenco Cadmus.
Neil has a strong strategic focus and a deep understanding of current and future trends of the technology sector. He holds an International Management Diploma University of Arizona, and a Certificate in Company Direction New Zealand Institute of Directors. He also completed a Mini-MBA at the University of Auckland.
Rajesh Menon
Vice President Sales
Rajesh heads up sales and operations for Pingar, with a focus on clients in India and South East Asia.
Rajesh has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry in business development, strategy, and general management across the USA, Europe, Asia and Africa.
Before joining Pingar Rajesh was a director of an IT software solutions company overseeing the deliver of tech projects including CRM, ecommerce and analytics products to large multinationals.
Rajesh holds a Masters in Computer Applications and a Masters in Business Administration.
Mike Riley
Executive Chair
Mike is a seasoned Executive whose natural curiosity, thought leadership, and infectious optimism combine into a formidable talent for guiding teams to deliver actionable strategies, unexpected partnerships and dynamic collaborations.
Mike is a Managing Partner at Prior Cress; past roles include CEO of Compac Sorting Equipment,CEO of Endace, and CMO of Boston-based Network Engines.
He is the Executive Chairman for Pingar, the Deputy Chair for ExportNZ, and has frequently participated in the judging for the New Zealand High Tech Awards, Export Awards and Amcham awards.
Dr Pascal Steger
Data Scientist
Pascal’s background is in data analysis and statistical modelling of big cosmological simulation data.
After finishing his doctorate he expanded his data science knowledge to transform insights into actionable guidelines, and to enable interaction with users via web technologies.
Tom Mullins
Product Owner
Tom’s broad IT background spans twenty years, two countries, and includes end-user compute, Oracle database and Microsoft infrastructure with a number of years in team leadership and development, and exposure to a range of business support functions. His history includes Fujitsu-Siemens, British Telecom, Datacom NZ, Spark, and New Zealand’s Department of Internal Affairs.
Tom has stepped into the role of Product Owner to combine his experience in technology with his career in business and future business practices. He is midway through an MBA from Wellington Victoria university.
