Get the API

You can access our API in two ways;
1. via our on-demand cloud servers
2. via your own on premise servers
For either method you will require an API key and access to our API management suite.
How to get an API Key
To get access to the Pingar API you'll need an application id and API key for every application you plan to deploy. To get the required credentials:
- The first step is to register for the API portal - Sign Up to create your developer account (you'll be able to add other developers on your team later).
- Check for the sign-up confirmation email, once you've been approved, you'll be able to Sign In to you account.
- Once logged in navigate to the "Dashboard" area and then to "Applications" where you can create your first application.
- Each application has a single ID which never changes and one or more keys, you can generate your fist key by clicking the generate button.
Download the SDK
We have released a Software Development Kit (SDK) to enable developers to easily learn how to use the Pingar API. It is a collection of runnable example code with lots of comments.
Just add your Application ID and Application Key into the project settings, explained in the readme file.

Commercial Use / Pricing
Usage of the sandbox API is free for a limited number of transactions. If you'd like to get unlimited access and use the API commercially, you'll need to upgrade your app - contact us at support@pingar.com.
