Pingar is unveiling its beta SharePoint 2007 Search application in Silicon Valley this month.
New algorithms have been created to add significant new ‘fine-tuning’ options to enterprise users of Microsoft SharePoint 2007 Search. As well as delivering search query results as dynamic PDF documents, Pingar’s new algorithms put contextual meaning into a user’s query input.
Led by Dr Alyona Medelyan, the Pingar R&D team has bridged the gap between conventional search and some of the dramatic improvements being introduced with FAST Search for SharePoint 2010. Further improvements and a completely new summarization algorithm with be introduced into the Pingar SharePoint 2007 & 2010 application layer at the 2010 NZ SharePoint Conference in Wellington.
These new applications demonstrates Pingar’s ability to operate across different Search Engine platforms, bringing enhanced end user experiences to the widest number of enterprise and internet consumers.
